Coyote (Hawks MC next generation book 1)

Humiliated years earlier when in high school, Channa Edwards never expects to see her knight in shining armour again. In fact, she really doesn’t want to, but of course, life wants to mess with her again. It’s just by luck he doesn’t recognise her, and for a blissful moment, she thinks she’s got away with it.

That’s until another situation brings her knight back into her life.

Cody “Coyote” Marcus, son to the Hawks MC president, goes through life easily. He has a great family, a business he loves, and women if he wants them. Then, by chance, he meets a cute, bumbling baker, who doesn’t seem to want anything to do with him.

Of course, he has to change that, and make Channa see he’s worth getting to know on all levels.

A grinning Review

I’m not kidding at all when I tell you I had a stupid smile on my face practically all the way reading through this book. I was so excited to read about Talon’s son Cody, and not to mention get started on this new adventure. I’ve loved all the other books in the Hawks series, but I have to say this is without a doubt my favorite so far.

I don’t really want to get into what happens in the book, since the blurb says it all. But I will tell you that this is a book you need to read. It’s the Hawks MC 2.0, and it’s just perfect. I mean, it’s got all the feels, it’s well written and takes you on a journey. Cody and Channa just fit, and their story is beautiful.

I also loved catching up with all the other characters from previous books and getting to know their kids again now that they’re grown up. But what made this book my favorite, and what makes me excited for the rest of this series, is that I kept laughing all the way through most of this story. It really brightened up my day, or night as it were. But the road is not easy for these two, so we also get drama, action, and heartbreak. It wouldn’t be a Hawks MC story without it.

And I just want to say, continuing a series with the next generation is not always easy or successful – but I have to say that Lila Rose just took this to a whole nother level and I’ll be staying on for the ride.
