2018 was a strange year for me. Lots of changes and surprises, and I didn´t see all of them coming. But 2018 was also a very good book-year. So many great authors published amazing books, and as a reader I appreciate the hard work and dedication behind every single one of them. Reflecting back on 2018 I find it very interesting that as I reader I´m also constantly changing, and what I loved in 2017 I didn´t like in 2018 – and so it will be interesting to see what 2019 brings, and there are so many good books to look forward to – from both known and unknown authors.

I thought I would put up a top 10 or 20 list, but found it near impossible to place all my favourites. So instead here is a list of the 10 books that made an impression in 2018, books I liked or loved and stayed with me in one way or another after I turned the last page – in no particular order:
