Mason, a Ride series crossover and second generation, is live!
Mason (A Ride series crossover)
Ellie Mitchell has spent the better part of the last five years trying to move on from her past. As far as she’s concerned, being alone is the best medicine. That is, until a certain football star comes barreling into her life, unexpected and oh so persistent.
Mason Jackson is a man who knows what he wants. And he wants Ellie. Ellie isn’t like any woman he’s met before with her quick wit and complete disinterest in his fame. Now, he’ll need to convince her that taking a chance on him is worth it.
When Ellie’s past resurges with dangerous consequences, Mason will do everything and anything to protect the woman he loves.
This is the story of Ellie and Mason, a Ride Series crossover novel.
A full speed ahead review:
While this is a crossover novel, to me it’s still part of Ride’s second generation. It can be read as a standalone though.
Anywho … Mason belongs to Cal and Jill, and while he is a big part of the extended Ride family, he’s always gone his own way and followed his own dreams – with the full support of family and friends. When he meet’s Ellie it’s intrigue at first sight, and the chemistry is undeniable. But Ellie has her own secrets and demons, so it’s a good thing Mason is stubborn and always goes after what he wants.
This was a fast paced read that kept my attention from start to finish. I really enjoyed this story, and honestly it’s one of my favorites from this author. I also really enjoyed seeing the other characters from Ride, and what’s up with Ryan and Lilly? Fingers crossed they get a book next. And more Ride second generation please 🙏
