Two of my favourite fictional worlds meet in this book, and I couldn’t be happier – the BOOM meets the Wallflowers.

Joe Rouger is Novembers uncle and owns the strip bar, Teasers, with his brother. Joe is divorced and have two grown sons, but he nows feels unsettled and he really wants to find that missing piece. Southern belle, Bernice Armstrong, never settled down. Bernice owns the shop Frock You with her sister and together they raised their niece Calla Lily. Now in her fifties she feels that she is never going to find her special someone, that is until she sees Joe.

Without giving too much away, it does take some time before Joe and Bernice connect, but once they do all bets are off. It’s a fast paced whirlwind romance with typical wallflower shenanigans, drama and hot alpha males. What I loved most about this story is that it really shows that age doesn’t matter. You are never to old for love, passion and finding that happily ever after. Also, we all should really have a Joe in our life. Because holy smokes, he is the alpha of all alpha males and never deviates from the path he has set to get what he wants most of all – Bernice.

This story was absolutely hot and steamy, and filled with all the goodness we are used to from both Aurora Rose Reynolds and CP Smith.
