Brace yourself, the next book in Akeroyd’s “A Dark and Dirty Sinners’ MC” series is here. And as always after reading one of her books, I’m suffering from a book hangover as I’m trying to write this.

Cruz by Serena Akeroyd

CRUZ

She was forbidden fruit.

The sister of a man I respected.

I shouldn’t touch her. But I have to.

She’s addictive.

Even better, she bites.

But she’s been through so much, suffered the worst kind of abuse, and even as I want to shield her from the world, I can’t.

I’m a Sinner.

I bring danger with me wherever I go.

Once it taints her, there’s no going back…

INDY

He was forbidden fruit.

A brother in the MC that I thought I’d escaped a long time ago.

I shouldn’t want him. But I need him.

He’s addictive.

Even better, he makes me burn.

But he’s been through so much, endured the worst kind of betrayal, and even though he’s an enigma to me, I crave him.

He makes me want to sin.

He’s dangerous.

But I’m already tainted. I’ve shed blood, and now there’s no going back…

For the first time in my life, I’m ready to face what happened to me to make a brighter future for myself, but can I do that with a man who’s running from his past?

Find out in CRUZ, book five of A DARK & DIRTY SINNERS’ MC.

Please be advised, this book isn’t suitable for sensitive readers.

Review:

It’s not a secret that this is one of my favorite MC series out there. And there’s a lot of reasons for that. Great writing, world/story building, and the characters. Besides the main story, we get to catch up with “old” characters and there are several storylines in the background running along at the same time and it all just flows along naturally. I’m nosy, so I really like the little glimpses we get into the other member’s drama 😉

Cruz was actually a character I knew little about before this book, but I enjoyed getting to know him and liked the character – especially in regards to Indy. Indy, Nyx’s sister, has been in and out of several books – small appearances here and there. And while I knew she’d suffered trauma, the extent of it blew me away. So proceed with caution if you have triggers in regards to sexual abuse or BDSM – the trigger warning is there for a reason.

I actually find that I really just don’t want to say too much about the story, I want people to read and experience this book for themselves. The journey is what it’s all about, and I kinda loved the journey this book took me on. From heartbreak to healing, redemption, and love. Like all the others in the series, this book is full of action and mayhem and hard to put down once you start.
